We seek a skilled, energetic, patient-focused Optician/Eyewear Consultant to join our outstanding team at Ophthalmic Associates located in Johnstown, PA. Join a team of physicians and medical staff who provide full-service medical and surgical care, including routine eye care, retina, glaucoma, and corneal disease. We Believe in Rewarding Excellence! • Educate and recommend specific lenses, lens coatings, and frames to suit patient needs.
• Ordering frames and lenses from vendors.   
• Assisting with frame adjustments and repairs.
• Collecting payments and entering charges and payments into the Practice Management system.   
• Dispense patient glasses, contact lens orders, and frames orders. 
• Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and color, coordinating frames with facial and eye measurements, and optical prescriptions.

• At least two years of experience in the optical field is required.
• At least two years of experience working as an Optician is preferred. 
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Sales experience is a PLUS!
