The Accounts Payable Specialist will work closely with the Senior Manager, Accounts Payable in collaboration with the entire finance department to ensure expenses and payments are complete, timely and accurate. This role will reconcile invoices on behalf of all Vision Innovation Partners affiliated practices.

 

Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

  • Calculate, post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and provide other clerical support necessary to timely pay the obligations of the organization 
  • Clarify any questionable invoice items, prices or receiving signatures 
  • Obtain proper information and/or data regarding invoice payments 
  • Assemble invoices to be completed for payment 
  • Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable), 
  • Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval 
  • Assist accountants by completing accounts payable tasks to support check runs
  • Analyze discrepancies with invoice and research information to discover the source of the problem
  • Maintain copies of vouchers, invoices or correspondence necessary for files 
  • Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amounts and coding per accounting policies and procedures 
  • Complete periodic reports and other records 
  • Reconcile and record vendor statements by location, department, physicians, etc 
  • Process POS credit card transactions and employee expense reimbursements

Qualifications

  • PC Proficiency, Data Entry Skills
  • Strong excel skills are desire

 

$60,000.00 - $62,000.00 Annually 

 

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as, but not limited to full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility, annual educational reimbursement, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
