We are seeking an outstanding Ophthalmic Technician to join our talented clinical support team.  In this role, your primary task is to assist with the surgical care of our patients under the supervision of the nursing staff. Additionally, the ophthalmic assistant or technician will be cross-trained to assist the front desk staff as needed.

 

Responsibilities

What You Will Do:

  • Act as a liaison between the physician and the patient
  • General cleanliness, stocking, and inventory of the Clinical area
  • Assist with patient admissions, discharging patients, chart preparation, medical records, and other administrative duties
  • Maintain a compassionate, professional, and courteous manner with patients at all times
  • MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL AS NEEDED 

 

Qualifications

What You Will Bring:  

 

  • High School diploma or GED certificate
  • Certification or Registration as an Ophthalmic Technician
  • Experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred
  • Experience in ophthalmology is preferred
